You never know what can come from a chance meeting. In 2022, I met Asude Altintas Guray at the London Bett Global EdTech conference through mutual friends. Just a few months later, Intel Education was partnering with Twin Science & Robotics, the company Asude co-founded, to support teachers and students in areas that were hit hard by the earthquake in Türkiye.

UC San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center is conducting two, simultaneous Long COVID studies of adults in the Bay Area called RECOVER and EPI-PASC. The team conducting this research is encouraging local residents to participate. Both studies are under the banner of a UCSF-led research effort called Let’s Figure Out Long COVID — Tell Us Your Story, Bay Area.
