Strategy: Positioning, Messaging, Startup Launches & Marketing Campaigns

I collaborate with business and marketing leaders to develop positioning, messaging and launch strategies that will drive growth. For startups and small businesses, this may mean defining target audiences, market positioning and messaging for the very first time. Tag lines and product names can be part of that process. For larger organizations, I help develop campaign strategies that include themes, creative briefs, audience personas, copy points, production schedules and more — all of which would support predefined corporate strategies.

This all happens behind the scenes (and often under NDA) so it's not possible share many examples here. Those below are from past startups, organizations or business units that no longer exist. I’ve also included a couple of presentations about social media strategy, as I taught this subject to college students and working professionals at Portland State University and Miami Ad School and I presented at other universities and numerous conferences over the years.
