So much content!
I've created and produced just about every type of marketing and PR project under the sun.
I started my journey as a copywriter and PR gal before I graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism — and that was a long time ago.
Since then, I've worked at ad agencies and PR firms, a TV station, and within large corporate and nonprofit organizations. I've also helped a number of startups and small, local businesses along the way.
I always lead with strategy and I'm an avid manager of details and deadlines. I’m ready to tackle any challenge.

Client History
Notable Enagements
Intel Education: For more than three years, I worked on executive communications, writing as the voice of a global executive. I created daily social media content (words and visuals), built a following for this exec, and engaged with friends/followers. I wrote long-format blog posts for this exec and the manager of Intel’s teacher community. I also created social media kits filled with text, visuals, and instructions for the global education team when they were supporting product launches, live events and trade shows.
UCSF Community Outreach: In 2022 and 2023, epidemiologists, medical professors and doctors at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) were working on multiple studies to discover causes, prevention and treatment of Long COVID. Community participation in these studies — particularly among marginalized communities that were hit hard by COVID — was essential. I was part of a three-person communications team to help create awareness. I developed the messaging strategy and did all the writing, which required translating complicated medical jargon into easy-to-understand press releases, fact sheets and website copy. I also managed the architecture, design and creation of the Wordpress website. After the template was built, I created the layouts of all the pages and populated them with content, cross-checked all website links, and more.
Facebook Education & Yale partnership — inspirED: This project was to create awareness about lessons and programs for teachers to enhance “school climate” and social-emotional learning in their classrooms. I developed daily, organic social media content and helped manage private Facebook groups. I edited email newsletter copy drafted by Yale experts, created the layouts and managed the email marketing outreach and platform. I attended events at Facebook HQ in San Mateo and Seattle to support those with live social media content and follow-up blog posts. Most importantly, I created and managed a very successful lead-generation campaign to introduce teachers to the program via paid ads and blog posts. I introduced lead-gen concepts to client contacts, created all the content, managed the ads and the budget.
The Nature Conservancy: The seven-state western region of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) initially brought me on to train the communications team on social media strategies, help ramp up new social accounts for several states, and establish related best practices. I ended up working on the team for several months, creating organic content, engaging with friends and followers, managing ad campaigns, and writing long-format content for blogs, newsletters and donor outreach (print and online). I also advised the team on MarTech tools and integrations.
